The Bird Hide

Ideal for a family wanting a unique evening experience right next to the River Stour.

The Bird Hide is a fully insulated low roof cabin designed to give families a unique opportunity to watch the sunset over the River Stour. With direct river views and binocular watching hatches, you can spend the evening bird watching and stargazing.

Book now

A minimum 2 night stay in Glamping tents & Cabins and check in is only available on Monday, Wednesday and Friday (except camping and bird hide). All guests staying in our accommodation can launch their own watercraft free of charge at a private launch point.

We are off-grid with our own solar power and generate our own electricity! There is electricity in the cabins and glamping tents, but the camping is non-electric.

You can spend your evening watching the sun set over Dedham Vale; with a glass or two sat around our unique, six-metre sunken fire pit; or listening to the endless chatter of the birds in the RSPB reserve on the other side of the river. We sometimes have cows visit too!

Unfortunately we don’t allow dogs in our accommodation.
