Glamping

Our seven glamping pitches surround the six-metre wide sunken fire pit which gives the site a homely village feel. Each glamping pitch has it’s own outdoor seating with our very own Constable Park deckchairs! There are generously sized shower blocks and washing up areas for you to use and the glamping area is exclusive for campers.

The 4 and 5 metre Bell tents sleep 2 adults on a proper double bed with space for additional inflatable airbeds for small children in the 5 metre tents only. Electric blankets are available and there is a charcoal BBQ with a gas burner hob shared between 2 tents. A cool box will also be provided.

Our large Touareg tents have the feel of a tepee, but are a practical square design ideal for a family of 5 – inflatable air beds are available for children. They are each equipped with a wood burning stove and their own gas BBQ, as well as a cool box. The Touareg tents are on the river frontage with amazing views!

Cabins

Moorhen and Goose are upcycled, extra wide, steel containers. Each of these timber clad cabins are suitable for year round use with central heating, en-suite bathrooms with generous showers and a lounge space with simple “scandi” style sofas. All our cabins have a kitchenette with a two gas burner, fridge and crockery for a family of 4. You will find everything you need to do breakfast, a simple lunch and a BBQ outside in the evening.

Each cabin has a double bed and a pair of quirky 4ft wide end access bunk pods. At 4ft wide the bottom bunk could accommodate two small children with a third in the top bunk, however it’s best to bring sleeping bags to avoid arguments over the duvet!

There is electric supply in the cabins and tents, but there are no TVs, instead you can spend your evening watching the sun set over Dedham Vale; with a glass or two sat around our unique, six-metre sunken fire pit; or listening to the endless chatter of the birds in the RSPB reserve on the other side of the river. We sometimes have cows visit too!

Unfortunately dogs aren’t allowed in the accommodation but can be brought along with day visitors to the Watersport Centre.
